Planes para Semana Santa con bajo presupuesto

WELCOME to the Language Section of the university´s  electronic newspaper.

This week Level 6 students of English have written ideas about what YOU can do during vacations without spending so much money.  Hope you like their tips.  And remember there may be some minor errors in their writing, but they have made a big effort to express themselves in their 2nd language.

“Paseo Montejo. An Avenue Full of Beauty and Experience”

There’s not a better thing to do than discover your own city during the coming Easter Vacation!  One of the most attractive places to visit is Paseo Montejo.  This avenue has a bit of everything. For instance, you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, museums and a beauty that cannot be compared. The Monument to the Fatherland is the perfect place to start your route. The history of Mexico as a country is represented in this work of art. You simply can’t miss it! Not too far from there, you can find another jewel: The Museum of Anthropology; which is located between Paseo de Montejo  and 43rd Street. A Mayan exhibit is always shown in this museum. The perfect place to start learning about your ancestors! Finally, the Calesa Ride must be done by you.  It’s a relaxing experience you can’t miss. If you have done it before, you should do it again. It’s a wonderful way to admire and know more about your city. This vacation don’t spend a lot of money in travelling. Paseo Montejo is waiting for you.
