Where he will be offering the film masterclass “habitar el cine” to share his expertise aimed at students, aspiring filmmakers, and cinema lovers.
The event will be taking place in the forum “MayaMax” located in el Gran Museo del mundo Maya.

Best known for his groundbreaking performances in Amores Perros, Y Tu Mamá También, and The Motorcycle Diaries, García Bernal has built an international career that bridges both Hollywood and independent film.
He is also co-founder of the production company Canana Films, and a passionate advocate for social justice through storytelling.
According to organizers, the session will cover topics such as acting technique, directing, the role of cinema in society, and García Bernal’s own experiences navigating the global film industry.
This visit is part of a broader cultural initiative to bring leading voices in film and the arts to the Yucatán Peninsula, enriching the region’s vibrant creative scene.
